Behold the Lamb of God | Christmas Hymn of the Week

Behold the Lamb of God who comes to take away our sin!

Before Jesus came, God’s people had to bring animals to sacrifice for their sins when they came to worship him. So when John the Baptist calls Jesus “The Lamb of God,” in John 1, he is saying something very important: Jesus is the last sacrificial lamb, the one who will make things right between people and God once and for all. What an amazing gift!
